Our Women’s Self-Defense Class ’25 was a powerful reminder of the importance of safety, confidence, and community support. In partnership with Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy, InspireHer Foundation offered two free self-defense sessions for survivors of domestic violence sheltered at The Archway, with a total of 27 women participating. These classes focused on practical, easy-to-remember techniques that could make all the difference in a difficult situation helping women feel stronger, more prepared, and more in control of their personal safety. This initiative was made possible through compassionate community partners and donors who believe in protecting and empowering women during their healing journey. For future supporters, this program demonstrates how your contributions directly create safe, supportive spaces where women can rebuild confidence and reclaim their strength. Together, we’re helping survivors move forward with courage and clarity.

As we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October, InspireHer Foundation has partnered with Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy to host a series of Self-Defense Classes for survivors of domestic violence. These sessions are designed to empower women with practical tools, confidence, and safety strategies.
